In Short: This Privacy Policy applies to non-medical/health personal information that you provide to us such as your name, address, contact information, and the credentials established by authorized users of the Client Portal.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering with the Services, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on the Services, or otherwise contacting us. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information
The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect via the Services can include the following:
Name and Contact Data. We collect your first and last name, business affiliation and job title, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.
Client Portal Access Credentials. We retain user names, passwords, password hints, and similar security information used for authentication and access to our Client Portal by authorized users.
As stated above, this Privacy Policy does not apply to our privacy practices for medical and health information related to our testing and other professional services. Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices describes our privacy practices for medical and health information.
Information Automatically Collected
In Short: Some personal information – such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics – is collected automatically when you visit our Services.
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services and other technical information. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law.
We retain personal information for as long as we reasonably require it for contractual, legal, or other business purposes. When we no longer have a legitimate interest in keeping your personal information, we will securely delete or destroy it. In determining data retention periods, NMS Labs takes into consideration applicable laws, contractual obligations, and what we reasonably believe are an individual’s expectations and requirements in light of the circumstances in which the information was collected. For example, if you are the employee of a client, we will retain your contact and preferences information for the duration of the client relationship and for an additional period to assist with for post-contract information requests and marketing purposes and until you direct us to cease marketing activities or no longer show interest in our products or services. If you submit an information request, we will retain your contact and preferences information and consider our relationship to remain active for marketing purposes after fulfilling your request and until you direct us to cease marketing activities or no longer show interest in our products or services.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect personal information from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Terminating your account. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
