Special Handling
Avoid exposure to gadolinium or iodine based contrast media for 96 hours prior to sample collection. Do not use disinfectants containing iodine, such as Betadine®, during venipuncture.
Promptly centrifuge and separate Serum or Plasma into a deionized water rinsed plastic screw capped vial using approved guidelines.
